Kaizer Chiefs could do worse than make an offer for Shandre Campbell in the January window. How much do you know about the SuperSport winger?
ANOTHER PSL STAR EMERGES
SuperSport winger Shandre Campbell has two goals and two assists from eight appearances in the league this season. The standout performance in his burgeoning career, however, came on Saturday against Orlando Pirates, where he scored two goals and assisted another to inspire Matsatsantsa to a come-from-behind 3-1 win. They now lead Pirates by four points and have cemented their second-place status for now.
WHO IS REPORTED KAIZER CHIEFS TARGET SHANDRE CAMPBELL?
Campbell is primarily a left-winger but can operate on the other flank or as a second striker. Born in July 2005, he’s still just 18 and one for the future, but the present looks quite promising too. That performance against Pirates means he’s slowly becoming one of the hottest properties in the South African Premier Division. Former Bucs star Benedict Vilakazi has urged Kaizer Chiefs to make a move for Campbell before champions Sundowns swoop in for the talented teen. Will the Glamour Boys heed his advice?
