Kaizer Chiefs are interested in signing a midfielder and defender from Supersport United.
Patrick Maswanganyi, a midfielder for Supersport United FC who plays with the number 28, is available for transfer, however the Kaizer Chiefs management is interested in making a good offer to the Matsatsantsa management first.
Supersport United management wants R5 million for the player who has been a key player for them and has consistently won Man of the Match awards for the Pretoria team that has been performing well this season, despite the fact that Kaizer Chiefs management has put forth an offer for the player that is R2 million.
In order to establish himself, Patrick Maswanganyi also wants to join Kaizer Chiefs. He no longer wants to play for Supersport United because he fears switching to Mamelodi Sundowns in the future.
Keagan Johannes, a right wing back for Supersport United who has excelled for them in the right side and consistently wins man of the match awards, has drawn interest from Kaizer Chiefs. For more than two years, he was a superb defender for Supersport United’s first squad.
The top defender is being offered for R3 million by Supersport United management. Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs management had put forth an R1 million offer, which Supersport United had turned down. Supersport Management claims that if Kaizer Chiefs want the player, they will have to sign an R3 million loan deal.
However, the player has informed Supersport United management that he prefers to join Kaizer Chiefs on a permanent deal rather than a loan deal, and Kaizer Chiefs are making sure that the player will eventually come play for Kaizer Chiefs. Supersport United management has not yet decided on the offer for one of their best defenders, Keagan Johannes.
Mike Makaab, Keagan Johannes’ agent, has shares in Supersport United, thus he hasn’t made a decision with the management of the team yet.
