Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has conceded that using more young players in his club can backfire.
But it doesn’t mean he won’t place his trust in them as he looks to the future rather than the present.
And, while some may object, it is simple to grasp. Chiefs must prepare for next season after Mamelodi Sundowns won the league title for the third time in a row.
And, while the Chiefs still have the Nedbank Cup to contend for, it is a cup competition in which luck, more than anything else, is required to win.
“Football is a game of chances,” Zwane stated when asked about his team’s recent lack of experience.
